Chapter One: Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study
Youth entrepreneurship is a vital driver of economic development, job creation, and innovation. In Yola North Local Government Area (LGA), Adamawa State, PR campaigns have emerged as a powerful tool for promoting entrepreneurship among young people. These campaigns focus on raising awareness, providing information on resources, and inspiring entrepreneurial initiatives. Research by Adamu and Johnson (2023) highlights the significant role of PR in fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and connecting youth to opportunities. This study examines the impact of PR campaigns on youth entrepreneurship in Yola North LGA.

1.2 Statement of the Problem
Despite the potential of youth entrepreneurship to address unemployment, many young people in Yola North LGA lack access to information, resources, and support systems. PR campaigns could bridge these gaps, but their impact on youth entrepreneurship in the area has not been sufficiently analyzed.
